PicturaLingua
Pictures help you see who is doing something and what is happening. In the early lessons, you will meet picture sentences alongside Dutch words and recordings.
For example: Ik eet een banaan. means “I am eating a banana”.
The examples show how the person changes. Later lessons also use more written explanations. You do not need to memorise every symbol before you start.

Keep it manageable
Try a short session of 15–20 minutes to start. Choose a regular time and adjust it to your needs. Repeat difficult parts before moving on.
Write and remember
Keep a notebook if it helps you. Write useful words and a few sentences of your own. You do not need to copy every line.
Practise together
You can study independently. A learning partner, volunteer or teacher can also help you practise conversations and pronunciation. Mistakes are part of learning.
A phone, tablet or computer with sound is enough to get started. Headphones and a notebook can be useful. Optional AI practice can give extra ideas, but AI answers can contain mistakes.
